Design is Communication, & so much more.
Design has the power and responsibility to shape the world around us. Design is about communication, it’s about culture, it’s about humans, it’s about the little things and the big things. It's a language. Understanding the people around us and the world we live in enables us as designers to craft valuable experiences. This is ultimately what drives me—to seek to improve my understanding of human interaction with design and systems that truly impact people.
Just a small-town girl.
Growing up in a [very] small farming community in northeastern Montana taught me many things, but above all that I love to learn new things and push myself. I graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman, MT with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an Honors Baccalaureate. While I’ve since moved out to the Greater Seattle area, Montana will always have my heart.
I love getting outside!
When I'm not sticking my nose in an Adobe program, you can find me sticking it into a book instead! You’ll also find me chalking up to climb some boulders or hiking and getting outside in general. I often have my camera on hand, so feel free to connect with me on Instagram to keep up with adventures.
